A New Yorker was Born.

Sometimes you gotta throw yourself out of your comfort zone.

Since my first visit back in 2013, I fell in love with the NYC. The spirit of the city, the hustle of each day bringing new adventures and activities. Falling into this culture with each visit, I decided to make it my mission to spend my 30s as a New Yorker.

Back Story. I was born and raised in Macon, GA. Being a “peach” I had the southern culture instilled in me. Which is a good thing of course. Manners, the southern hospitality, the peaceful drives to the “country”, and SPACE! During my 20s I ventured to Atlanta, Ga. There I felt I’d be able to not only dream but to do! ATL was a great introduction to the city life and a way to get the best of both worlds. When I wanted to be at peace, I got it and when I wanted the rush o the city, it was only a 15 min. drive from Marietta.
One thing about ATL, they have a lot of dope underground features like music, fashion, and art. I found those on a whim which made the events an adventure to remember. Although I enjoyed my time in “Black Hollywood” with the modeling, acting, and overall lifestyle, I grew tired of the same old same old. I needed something new and New York was it!

Picking up and moving from the only state I’ve known was scary but exciting. I was used to the South and all of its splendors. Relocating to a new city with only three NY residents in my contacts list and with no car, I dove into my new life.
Still figuring out the city and what I can get out of it, I’m open to each and every experience. So what did I do on my first full day? Went to a film audition and explored Manhattan. Got a bite to eat at one of my fav burger joints (Bill's Bar & Burger), which was HEAVEN in a bun!

There's so much more for me to explore in this great city and I'm going to find it all! Stay tuned….
